Philosophy: Less is More

When we 'do to' - and force through a situation, we can end up in worsening things. We all have a story that confirms that.

My philosophy in practice includes working with you in a way that honors exactly where you are presently. The body unravels tension in a similar way- when it is ready. I practice to slow down, be a better listener and most of all to be of service.

Why I do what I do: I love working with people and I love being a mom.

In my youth, working at a human relations outdoor camp I realized how disconnected we all are in our society. I pictured these boxes we all stay in, from house to car to cubicle to tv and devices- our lifestyle is full of them and I wanted out. I chose massage school in Costa Rica and fell in love with the tropics. Not long after, I enjoyed over a decade of my career as a massage therapist in Maui, Hawaii serving mostly the tourism industry.

When I became a mother, there was so much to learn about my own baby. I invested in learning more about 'baby shaping' and how I could help my little one with his own restrictions. Moving to the Midwest provided me another curve ball- winter sickness! Lack of sunlight! I invested again as an herbalist with plenty of time for trial and error as a stay at home mom. I currently love to share what I've learned through experience along our journey, and it's an honor to share the gems that save others from going down challenging roads alone. I believe the power of immunity lives inside a strong and empowered Community. My Embodied Motherhood is just that; a growing community.
